What is Lurking Giants?
Lurking Giants is an asymmetrical analog-horror survival game on Roblox developed by ULTRA works. One player is randomly selected as a towering Giant and the rest must survive visibility pulses from 1:00 AM until 6:00 AM sunrise. Hide, relocate, and outlast the night.
Visibility Pulse
Every hour (1-5 AM) all survivors are highlighted for ~10 seconds. The Giant sees your location. You MUST relocate after every pulse.
Analog Horror Aesthetic
Giants emerge from TV screens with retro broadcast effects. The analog horror atmosphere creates constant tension and dread.
Dual Map System
Forest map with natural cover and caves. City map with rooftops, tunnels, and billboard blind spots. Vote each round.
Asymmetric 1 vs Many

What key is sprint in Lurking Giants?+
Press E to sprint, not Shift. This is the most common beginner mistake — many new players die because they press Shift instead of E.
How do I survive the visibility pulse?+
Relocate within 10 seconds after each pulse flash ends. The Giant sees your highlighted position during the pulse, so you must move to a new cover position before they reach you.
How do I unlock the Guilt Giant?+
Guilt costs 7,000 coins. Survivors earn roughly 100-200 coins per survived round, and Giants earn 25 coins per kill plus bonuses. Plan for 35-70 rounds of farming depending on your role.
Where are the best hiding spots?+
On Forest, bushes and caves are primary cover. On City, rooftops and tunnel networks provide the best hiding. Always avoid dead-end positions, especially against Guilt on City.
Are there any active codes?+
SORRYFORDELAY is the only active code, granting 200 coins. Enter it in the in-game Shop Codes tab (case-sensitive).
Which Giant is the best?+
Guilt is S-tier with the highest chase pressure, especially on City map. Locust is B-tier and balanced, best on Forest with open terrain pursuit.
How does map voting work?+
During intermission, enter Alpha, Beta, or Charlie gates to vote for a map. The map with the most votes is selected. 2x Voting Power game pass doubles your vote.
How long is a round in Lurking Giants?+
Each round runs from 1:00 AM to 6:00 AM in-game time, approximately 5 minutes of real time. Survivors win by reaching 6:00 AM sunrise.
What is the VERITY rework?+
VERITY is a major rework adding new Giants (Verity, Doctor Nowhere), survivor perks and classes, reworked maps, and VR/controller support. No confirmed release date yet.
Can survivors attack the Giant?+
No. Survivors have no combat capability. Your only defense is stealth, smart relocation, and surviving until sunrise. The upcoming survivor perks may add counterplay options.
Does Lurking Giants support mobile?+
Yes, Lurking Giants has full mobile support with an on-screen touch HUD. VR and controller support are announced for the VERITY rework.
